We have been living and working on this land since our great-grandfather, Luigi, originally from Tuscany, crossed the hills in 1902 and bought this holding.
Now, thanks to the work done by our grandparents and parents after them in cattle and arable farming, as well as caring for the land, one of the old buildings has been renovated and transformed into a country hotel and since April 2000, our guests have been enjoying these valleys, mountains, the local people and our work and traditions. |

The entire farm complex is situated on the Apennines between Tuscany and Emilia in the valley of the river Idice. The farm, totally converted to organic agriculture in 1993 ( certified by Suolo salute ), covers an area of approximately 155 hectares, 85 of which are oak woods and the remaining 70 hectares are planted with barley, wheat, field beans and alfalfa. |

The 'Benandanti' were part of the agricultural cults of the time. These good wizards wandered around the countryside rendering the harvests abundant and fighting any sort or black magic or sorcery.
Renovated as a farmhouse in the 18th Century, it is used as a country hotel where we offer accommodation and meals. |
